On Sunday, Peter and I had our monthly (we try to make it monthly) prosciutto party. We got our food from Eataly and ate it at Washington Square park. It was a little chilly but nothing we couldn't handle, we just sat there wishing the clouds would get of the sun's way.
Shortly after we took the bus over to Highline Park to try and catch the sunset but not before we warmed ourselves up with some hot tea and cappuccino.
After the sunset we went to Chelsea Market and chatted about religion and faith. Peter explained some bible teachings to me... oh just normal everyday conversations.... I think religion and cultural constructions will never cease to intrigue me.
It was just a really good day. As long as I get these little moments and laugh a little bit each day, it makes everything ok. Learning to enjoy the moment instead of chasing the next one.
