Old world details. I really appreciate original details that stand the test of time. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
Drooling over this staircase.
How cool is this built in piece?
I’m a sucker for stained glass. It’s a bit mesmerizing.
This bathroom is in the same house with the original wood work. I think it completely clashes aesthetically but you can’t save everything. I like the bench seating. This looks large enough to fit like 3 people in there. Shower party.
This back patio transports me to somewhere else… somewhere romantic, old and warm. The tiles are so beautiful even with its obvious wear and tear.
The scallop house. Or wave house. I think they should have committed and done the whole thing in this pattern.
This sad abandoned building has sat here unloved, unused, and forgotten for almost 4 years (since I have first seen it) and counting. The whole building is exposed to the elements and it’s a disaster inside, I’m sure. I imagine it will stay the same for a while… maybe a developer will see some potential and breathe some new life into it. One can only hope… but first they have to get rid of the squatters. ha.
